DIA's guests w/ Alex from Tokyo

We're beyond delighted to welcome Alex from Tokyo to DIA! radio for this guest show. Born in Paris but calling Tokyo home from the age of four, Alex grew up amid the sounds and spectacles of earth's largest city. He returned to Paris in 1991, in principle for university studies but really to dive into the underground club scene, and there music and fate brought him together with DJ Deep and DJ Gregory, and their now legendary lunchtime show on Radio FG. Back in Tokyo he became one of the strongest crossover DJs in Japan and formed Tokyo Black Star, whose "Psyche Dance" EP was chosen by Berlin label Innervisions as its very first release. Since then: his own label world famous, the Japan Vibrations compilations paying homage to the trailblazers of Japan's 80s and 90s dance scene, and 25 years of Gallery, his Sunday afternoon party in Tokyo with DJ Nori. He is what the Japanese call a tabibito, or traveler, treating listeners to his eclectic musical journeys.
