Robinson is a key figure in the Parisian electronic music scene, formerly known as Jean-Michel de la Night — a DJ, record collector, event producer and artistic director known for his deep, instinctive connection to sound and emotion. His sets are immersive journeys: deep, sincere, authentic, unpredictable, and rooted in a rich musical culture shaped by years of global digging. Drawing from 90s underground house, deep house, electro, Afro-Latin grooves, dub, reggae and beyond, Robinson crafts fearless, genre-blurring narratives that captivate diverse audiences. Respected for both his musical taste and curatorial eye, he oversees the artistic direction of two iconic Paris venues: Le Montana, a legendary nightclub, and Doublevie, a cult audiophile bar. Through these spaces, he hosts bold and genre-spanning lineups featuring respected names in global dance music culture such as O.bee, Kyle Toole, Phil Evans, Terrence Parker, Raphaël Top-Secret, San Proper, Jonny Rock, Marina Trench, Zaltan and more.
